No-body has our Built-IN Front bar & Back Hood Gutters to keep the whole awning clean, by not allowing the dirty rain run-off to spill over the edge or down the main awning Sunbrella fabric.

No-body has what we have because we really do manufacture our own framing from our own molds and designs, from Aluminum Alloy with a slow cure, high tinsel heat treated cool-down to anneal the Metal into a stronger Heat Treated Aluminum Alloy metal, just like Magnesium Aluminum Mag. Wheels on a car.

As an awning company, we concentrated exclusively on retractable rollout awnings and still do. Buzzman was founded by a degreed engineer who created a unique product far superior to other retractable awnings. With exceptional construction, quality components including Sunbrella fabric & Somfy Motors and Smart Controls, and a network of Dealers / Distributors for areas outside of South Florida, who pay attention to every detail, we can say we are THE Roll-Out Awning Experts.

In order to better oversee the quality of our product, we no longer supply Buzzman Awnings to some of our previous smaller dealers. Our prices for 2009 were reduced by an average $1500 per awning. We have established Direct Corporate Pricing with Factory to Customer; Installed for Dade, Broward, and Wellington.

Some past dealers show their most successful Buzzman Awning jobs right on their web sites and in their advertising. But they are no longer selling Buzzman Awnings so don't be fooled. You won't be getting the Original Buzzman Awning from anyone but us or our AUTHORIZED Factory suppliers, outside of S. Florida.

The Wall of Shame
The Blue & White Striped awning below, seen in our competitor's numerous ADs and his web site, is:
OUR... Buzzman Awning mounted on our competitor's own home.  You can even make out the same wall lights and Pelican plaque, mounted to his wall, plus his hot tub and blue chairs, etc.  You can also see on his Buzzman awning,...our own product designed, egg shell caps & Buzzman Gutter Front Bar, in the pics below.
We then show you him and his wife, showing off the real thing that they sell, after they pulled it out of the cardboard tube, pre-manufactured and supplied from a Mass supplier factory to this dealer.  Their awning has steel frame tubes & bars and Jack Screw Adjustable shoulders. Most of his brochure shows pictures of our Buzzman Awnings installed, not his pre-fab model that he sells.  You can call up many of his jobs that are in the pictures in his brochure, that are these Restaurants, Barber Shops, Commercial Stores, that all have our Buzzman installed on their places, not his flimsy product.  Just look up the phone number and ask them if it is a Buzzman Awning.  Most will tell you; "YES!" (especially the Barber Shop owner, his phone number is right on the front of the awning in the advertisement).

He shows OUR beautiful Buzzman Awning, 5-years old....flat, tight, and still clean, on the front valance scallop, due to OUR built-in gutter front bar, on his own home, and he is our competitor !
We do not sell him any Buzzman Awnings, and he cannot supply you such a nice looking and extremely capable awning as our Buzzman Awning.  His awnings come delivered all assembled in a cardboard tube, direct from the mass manufacture.  The mass Mfg. is one of the largest Awning Factories in the U.S. with parts being manufactured from China, and years before, from France.  This little dealer/competitor is just one of their 1,000 dealers trying to pretend that he is the factory with his own product, and is a factory partner/owner, when in fact, none of this is the case.  The real factory states no such capable claims for their awning, like our Buzzman, and has only a 5 to 6-year awning frame warranty.  This dealer is selling these light systems as heavy models for a premium price, but with lower pricing than most others that they come up against.
This dealer states in his Ads, that he is the Direct Manufacturer with Direct pricing, lifetime warranty, and Hurricane wind load approved, Designed for Heavy Rain & Wind, and that his product and company survived Hurricane Wilma with no damages, but don't be fooled.  He did not have any of these awnings during  the
2005-Hurricane Wilma, as He was not yet in business with these products.  If you look him up by his personal name as the president; (www.Sunbiz.org at the division of corporations for Florida), you will find that he just shut down his last company this past September 2007 (no lifetime warranties for his past three years or so, of customers), and now, just started this new company (Oct. 2007)  He States; he has been shading American homes since 1981 and that he has 27-years of combined experience in retractable awnings, plus a 50,000 sq. ft. facility.
             He has no-such-claims.  Ask for proof or look it up yourself.
He does slip up.  He always advertises that he has 400x-Sunbrella colors.  Sunbrella has only
286x-colors for 2009-2010 which is the most colors so far, ever, for Sunbrella.     

        

 

                         
This is their Real company location, shown below.  It is an empty warehouse where they sub-lease one of the garages, in the middle of this other business, from "*****Works Inc.", and is used to store the Mass pre-built Chinese component awnings in cardboard tubes with styro-foam inserts, just like the ones we found at his home, that he showed off to our investigator (shown above).

 
The REAL BUZZMAN AWNING
Look above, at our Buzzman "Frame Side Caps" in the pictures at the top left. You can see the same shape and design on many of our competitors pictures on their web sites and advertisements. But they do not supply our product that looks this good, to any of their customers..

The EGG SHELL CAP is our Exclusive Buzzman Product and Design, which bleeds off the rain water through our built-in Gutter Front bar, and squirts water out the underside of the EGG SHELL cap.

All Buzzman Distributors are corporate signed and licensed as Local General Contractors. All are listed and show their Local General Contractor License Numbers in their advertising.  Competitors may show State Licenses that are not qualified to be Awning contractors and are not licensed to install awnings in Florida.
Listing a State License makes it harder to shut down these non-licensed dealers, due to the limited funds that the State has, versus the local Building & Zoning municipalities, for contractor violations.  The State license violations must be handled by the State only, and that is the problem. 

The Longest Running Areas of Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Treasure Coast, and Naples, have always been, "Direct Corporate Pricing Distributors", for the Buzzman Rollout Awning, and continue to carry the "lowest pricing and best service since 1985" on to the present. Many smaller, past dealers, who might still be in business as competitors will be dealing the same products that every other competitor has available, But Not Our Buzzman! Their Claimed Qualityis really just... Lighter Framing, and Bulk Supplied and pre-assembled awnings from a 50,000 sq. ft. automated facility. "All the other awning companies, dealers, competitors, and supposed wholesale providers, seem to be carrying the same products with the same features. They may claim that they have highest quality, made with aluminum alloy (while it is really just soft 6063 T-5) when in fact, it is just the arms and components that are just plain aluminum, not the entire FRAME PIPES, MAIN MOUNTING BAR, AND ALL. Their roll tubes and main bars are Steel, which causes dissimilar metal Corrosion & Frozen Joints!

The Hardest and Most Complicated Alloys Are Made From Recycled Material. WE ARE GREEN! Even our Direct Imported European Raw Parts, are made from recycled aluminum, as is most of the world! We have the Finest Coatings on Our Parts!

Our Buzzman Frame is; "ALL ALUMINUM ALLOY.....ALL (and hard strength Alloy, not soft, plain aluminum)! There is No- Steel bars or Steel Framing, at All!

Just look at their Fabric Round Tube, and don't be fooled. It is usually Raw, Steel Galvanized Pipe. The Competitor's Square Main Frame Bar is usually Torsion Galvanized Steel with Coated and colored Powder PVC coating, at best. These can Rust, but more importantly, they can develop Electrolysis Corrosion, just from the Dissimilar Metals of Aluminum, Bound to Steel. It acts as a Battery (just like a car battery on your wall), when the wind Blows. This electric charge, causes Paint peeling in the Elbow areas of the arms, plus at all attachment points!

This lowers the life of the product, Drastically for Competitor models!

Competitors list their TILT SHOULDER system as a good thing, to allow the home owner to adjust pitch up and down SO THAT YOU CAN USE IT FOR RAIN. In Most Cases: This shows that their awning must be extremely tilted down TO HANDLE any kind or rain, or it can break, by filling with water! You will be responsible for not tilting it down enough, should this happen. Having your awning titled down at an extreme angle, allows the wind to press hard, against the entire awning frame, which can damage and ruin it over a short time in use.

Our Buzzman will handle Heavy Rain and Wind without having an Extreme tilt, as required by other competitive products. We do not carry, nor do we need adjustable shoulders. Our Buzzman stays locked in a straight alignment position, for life, and handles winds properly with a minimal angle to the wind: BUZZMAN DESIGNED FOR HEAVY RAIN AND WIND!

Competitor's Tilt Shoulders were originally designed to allow the customer to straighten the LIGHT WEIGHT awnings, as any little wind, could knock it out of alignment, and the dealers were going nuts, on "Call Backs", to constantly reset these lighter awnings, until they came out with these tilt shoulders.

Be aware that competitors may advertise that they have a heavy model (or even five heavy models), Now you know that the Tilt Shoulder is the GIVE AWAY TRUTH of what they are really offering. To See if the Competitor has the lightest awning system available in the United States; just look at the end of the arm, where it attaches to the Front main bar of the awning. If it has a plastic cap, just snap it off and look inside. This arm and attachment are HOLLOW, and have NO-Solid Cast Fitting to strengthen the arm to the Front bar attachment, as our Buzzman does. Their's has plastic grommets and a bolt, going through the arm wall, and this is all that might be holding this awning together.

This is; A High Volume, Low Cost, Robotically made light awning, assembled on a high volume automated production Line! They can claim it is High Quality and heavy rain capable, but it really may not be what it needs to be, as our Buzzman is what it is; HEAVY, STRONG, AND CAPABLE.

We have seen Competitors advertise; "designed for heavy rain and wind, 150 MPH Hurricane Coastal Approved". When In Fact: They may not have the authorized certification at all. So far, we are still the only ones as far as we know, and "Our Original Saying" for the last 23-years has been; "The Only One Designed For Heavy Rain & Wind".
